I went to Philly to work on this song with Carvin and Ivan. We wrote a few songs and they were cool, but not great. At the end of the night we were packing up to leave the studio and started talking about our relationships. I told them that 'now, as I look back, I'm kinda' glad that "certain gentlemen" in my past didn't give me all the attention I thought I deserved.' I'm glad that they "messed up" because I never would have fallen for the man I have now if they were in the way.
