It’s been a month…one whole month since we’ve been here in London. The city (even though I haven’t seen much of it) grows on me more every day! The people (at least the ones I’m blessed to I work with and run into) have been sweet, lovely and very helpful.  My little family has settled in for the most part, and in two weeks, my big work family moves into the theater – – a place I’ll call that my second home for a few months. We’ve started running the show in its entirety, and I think we’re in a really good place.  It’s such hard work…but it’s so much fun! I just love it!
On another note…

I have to say thank you…THANK YOU to all of you who picked up the album during the first two weeks. I can’t tell you how much it means to me. I really wanted to do this album for YOU…so much so, we (my husband and I) funded it ourselves. We did it independently…without the umbrella of a record company, and did it just for you. There’s no huge publicity department working on it; I’m in London working on the show, and there’s only so much I can do from this side of the pond.  So, everything that happens with the record, every album that gets into someone else’s hands,  is going to be because of YOU! And I’m so grateful for those of you who have shown us your support, and sent your encouraging words. Please continue to spread the word and tell all you can. If each of you shares, tweets, emails or tells a friend (or ten J) about it, we’ll get the word out there. For those of you who haven’t picked it up yet… I hope you will. I think you’ll enjoy it. I really need your help with this one…so thank you in advance! Won’t it be fun to show the world who really has the power in the record business…THE CONSUMER – – YOU J!!!

Anyhow, thanks again, and I look forward to all we’ll do here. We have so much planned for you and I’m excited to share what’s going on with you all.
Until the next time….
God bless.

  1. Firstly, you are welcome! Secondly, it really isn’t hard to help spread the word on quality music. Especially, in a world where, unfortunately, pop music is plagued by sex innuendo, meaningless messages (sometimes even offensive ones). It’s refreshing and reassuring to listen to an album that, in its entirety, is all about good quality music. That said, I wish I could do a lot more to get the word out. Ultimately though, our Father is the one that can really give a hand here – and I get the feeling He is already on the case. Hello? Very few singers can say they have won a Grammy AND a Tony award – I certainly can’t! God bless your music ministry and thank you for the new album. I can only wish the next one is not too far away. See you at the BG musical, Rachel :) Your fan from London/Sao Paulo, Flavio

Hey Heather , It is nots ptonlem helping you push this record. I texted Tom Joyner @ his syndicated radio show to try and get him to play your CD and interview you. He wrote back that he did to have it . I urged him to get it and he stated that the music comes from the affiliated stations. I also wrote to Steve Harvey and asked him to play it. In addition I wrote to my local station in Ohio WZAK-FM and asked them to play it.
If someone on your team could get to them people and send them a CD maybe they would play it. If they could call or email them it may work that way.
Another way is to have someone contact Alfred or Cathy Hughes. They own a host of radio one stations across the county. I am sure she would help you get your record out.
